Position on Hyperscale Data Centers
- Signatory of the national AI Pact, pledging binding standards on data center resource consumption, independent safety reviews, and protecting residential ratepayers from grid buildout costs (Courier Nebraska).
- Opposes blanket federal or state moratoriums on data centers as economically disadvantageous, while calling for strict transparency on power and water usage: “The federal government should be doing things to place guardrails on these data centers, making sure they're transparent about power usage and water usage... I don't think anybody's power bill should go up a cent for these data centers” (Courier Nebraska).
- Maintains a grassroots, small-dollar campaign with no recorded investments in tech hyperscalers or utility providers.
